Moving Day (Again!)

So, 4 weeks and 2 days after we arrived, we moved to a new apartment. Some of you may be aware that the last place we were in was a little.... shall we say bug-infested. The memories are too close right now to dwell on, but it may be the topic of a future posting. In anycase, we requested to move up to a two-bedroom apartment, and today was the big day.

This apartment is in a complex just down the street from the school. We have probably doubled our commute time. So instead of 3 minutes, we're probably looking at about.... 10 minutes.
Here are some pictures....

Here is the new bedroom. It is a queen.... or a king. We're not sure yet. It appears to be Queen width, but the proportions look like a king. I speculate it is because they make beds shorter here in China. We'll measure it and report back.

Here is the entryway to our apartment. We borrowed some rolley-luggage from co-workers for the move. Yes. The fridge is in the living room. Think of the convenience when you want to drink something with dinner...

Here is the smaller of the two bedrooms. This one has a double bed. We only have sheets for a double bed right now, so we're staying here.... the curtains have not yet arrived. They should be coming in about 4 days.

Here is the TV and the water. The water here tastes okay! We have consumed a large amount of water in the few hours we have been here. There is a little balcony outside those doors.

Here is the other side of the room. 1 leather couch. We're going to ask if there is any possibility of getting the landlord to get some chairs as well... just in case more than 1 person decides to visit us.

Here is the dining room table. There isn't an air conditioner in the living room (yet? We are looking into that as well). So we set up the fan.

Behind these doors is...... the kitchen. They are some pretty awesome doors. At this point, our camera ran out of memory.... so until next time!
