Snow in Tianjin

One day, the weekend before Christmas, it snowed in Tianjin. It was a pretty big snowfall, several inches. They say it was the biggest around here in many many years. Tianjin is a pretty dry place. It rained three or four times in September, and since then, there has been no precipitation at all until this dump of snow. They are expecting no more snow this year. Last year, it did not snow at all.

Temperatures are normally around -10 degrees for a low, and around 0 degrees for a high. On nice days, it gets up to 2 or 3 degrees. On cooler days, -3 or -2 degrees. It's sometimes very windy too, which adds to the cold.
